Installing the Genesis Framework

Before installing and activating your theme you'll first need to install a copy of the  Genesis Framework from StudioPress.

To do so:

  1. Go to Appearance > Themes from the WordPress menu
  2. Choose Add New
  3. Choose Upload Theme
  4. Click Choose File and locate your Genesis zip file or drag and drop it on top of the the Choose File button
  5. Click Install Now

You should now go ahead and install and activate your theme from Lean Themes.
