Customisations: Lighten the header image 'wash' [Milton]
I do not want the header image to darken (or at least not as much), but can't seem to find where I can adjust it in the files. Could please please point me in the right direction?
There's a line - shown below - in the Milton's theme's style.css file which controls the dark 'wash' effect.
At the time of writing it's line 1446 in the style.css file (but this may change in future theme updates or if you have edited style.css previously).
To make the wash lighter, change the 0.5 part to 0.2 or 0.3 etc. To mark it darker increase that number (e.g. 0.7 or 0.8).
To remove it completely, comment out or delete this whole chunk of CSS.
